Jitu Patel runs things from the Multi House over here in Andheri East. It’s a busy spot, as you probably know if you’ve ever tried to find parking around here. The office is one of those places where there is always a pot of tea going and the phone is usually ringing off the hook. We deal with all sorts of estate matters, mostly just helping folks find a place or figure out what to do with their land. Andheri is always moving, so there is never a dull day. Jitu has been doing this for a long while, and he knows these streets better than most. The office has a few old maps on the wall and some stacks of papers that we try to keep in order, though it’s a struggle sometimes. We don’t really do the big fancy presentations you see in the city center. It’s just us sitting at the desks, talking to people who walk in. The building itself is okay, nothing too modern, but it does the job for what we need. Most of our day is spent either on the phone or driving around to look at different spots in the area. It gets loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or so. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure the local deals get finished. We might not have the newest chairs, but we have enough room for everyone to sit.
