Jigna Darji

My place is in Girgaon, right on the 2nd floor of building number 13. It’s very close to Bana Hall Lane. If you know the area, you know the streets can be a bit narrow and busy. I’ve been working from this spot for some time now. It’s an old building, but it has a lot of character. I spend most of my hours here working on whatever projects are on my desk. It’s a small space, and I’ve got it set up just how I like it. There’s always something to be done, whether it’s sorting through files or meeting with someone who has climbed the stairs to see me. The 2nd floor is nice because you get a bit of a breeze if the windows are open, though you still hear the sounds of the street below. It’s just me doing my thing. I don't have any big advertisements out front. People usually know where to find me if they need my help. It’s a very local way of doing business. I’ve lived in this part of the city for a long time, so I’m used to the pace of Girgaon. It’s a bit crowded and noisy outside, but inside it’s just a regular workspace where I can get my tasks finished. Nothing fancy, just honest work. Sometimes the building cat comes by to say hello while I'm working, which is a nice distraction. It's just a simple life here in the heart of Mumbai.
