Jaysshres Kitchen

Jaysshres Kitchen is situated at Worli Naka 8. This part of the city is always loud with cars and buses passing by at all hours. Our kitchen is right in the middle of that energy. It is a modest place where we spend most of our waking hours. The walls have a few stains from the steam and cooking, which is just what happens when you are busy every day. We have a couple of large pots that are almost always on the flame. Worli Naka 8 is a good spot because there are so many people living and working around here who need a simple meal. We don't have a big fancy sign outside, just a small one that lets people know we are here. Most of our work is done behind the scenes, preparing the food and getting it ready for the lunchtime rush. Sometimes the water pressure is a bit low, which makes cleaning up a bit of a chore, but we manage. We aren't trying to be a five-star place; we just want to get the food right for the people who rely on us. It is a lot of standing on our feet and the floor gets a bit slippery by the end of the shift. The smell of spices is stuck in our clothes by the time we go home. We just tidy up, close the shutters, and get ready to do it all over again the next day.
