Jankar Industries

Jankar Industries is located in Malad West. We are in the Bombay Talkies Compound which is an old area with a lot of history. Being behind New Era Talkies is a good landmark because everyone in the neighborhood knows the theater. The compound is quite crowded with different workshops and small units. We have our space here and it is where we do all our manufacturing and assembly work. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint but we are more focused on keeping the machines running. It gets quite noisy during the day when all the units in the compound are working at the same time. We mostly deal with industrial parts and metal pieces. There is a lot of dust and metal scraps around the floor. We try to keep things tidy but in a factory setting, it is hard to stay clean. Our workers come from nearby areas and have been with us for a long time. The commute to Malad can be tough during the monsoon season when it rains heavily. We don't have a big website or a social media page. We just work and sell to the people who need our products. Sometimes customers come by to check on their orders and we sit in the small cabin in the corner to discuss the numbers. There is a lot of paper shifting and phone calls throughout the day. Usually, we eat our lunch together at the big table in the back. It is a simple setup at Jankar Industries.
