Jamali Electric

Jamali Electric has been a part of Byculla for a long time now. We don't have a fancy building or a big glass storefront. Our shop is just a typical local spot in one of the older neighborhoods of Mumbai. We deal with all kinds of electrical items, from simple wiring to switches and light fixtures. The space is a bit small, and we have boxes stacked up high because we like to keep enough stock for anyone who might walk in. Byculla is a place with a lot of character and history, and we feel like we fit right in here. We aren't a big chain store with thousands of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know about electricity and how to fix things. Most of our day is spent helping people from the nearby apartments or other small businesses. We don't have a big website or do any social media. People know where we are, and they come to us when they have a problem with their power or need a new appliance part. Sometimes we sit outside on a stool when it’s slow and watch the traffic go by. It’s a quiet life in a loud city. We just provide what people need and try to keep the lights on for everyone. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s ours and we take it seriously.
