If you’re trying to find Jalaram Traders, you’ll want to look for Gala No. 32 inside the Blue Rose Industrial Estate. It’s right on the Western Express Highway in Borivali, which means we spend a lot of our time listening to the roar of cars and trucks zooming past. Being near the Jaya Petrol Pump helps people find us, because the estate itself is quite big and easy to get lost in. Our gala is packed with stuff from floor to ceiling. It’s a bit of a squeeze sometimes when we get a big shipment in. We are mostly busy with orders and moving stock around. The heat can get pretty bad in the afternoons, so we keep the big shutters open to get some air in. Trading is a fast business; the phone is always ringing, and someone is always asking for a price. We don’t have a fancy showroom. It’s just a warehouse space where we keep our inventory and a small desk for the paperwork.
