J P Parekh Son

If you know Forjett Street, you probably know where Shinde Gardens is located. That is where J P Parekh Son is set up. We have been here in Ayodhya Nagar for a good bit of time. The building has a lot of character, which is a nice way of saying it is old and sometimes the stairs feel like a real workout. We don't mind it much. It feels like home after all these years. The atmosphere around here is quite lively during the day. You get all the city noises, people shouting, and the smell of cooking from the nearby flats. Inside our space, it is mostly papers and files. We keep things pretty simple. There is no receptionist or a lobby with magazines. Usually, one of us will just look up from a desk when someone walks in. We deal with whatever needs doing that day. Sometimes the phone rings too much, and other times it is quiet enough to hear the fan buzzing overhead. We like being in this part of town because everything is close. If we need a quick lunch, there are plenty of spots right down the street. It is a practical place for a business like ours. We don't try to make it look like something it isn't. Just a local spot on Forjett Street where we do our daily work and hope the traffic isn't too bad when we head home. It's a living.
