We are over in Malad West, specifically in Gandhi Nagar. It’s a mix of homes and small shops around here. We work with dyes and various tools. Our shelves are full of containers and metal bits. It’s a bit of a specialized trade, but it keeps us busy. The shop isn't huge, so we have to be smart about how we stack things. We spend a lot of time mixing colors or checking the edges on tools. It’s detailed work and you can’t really rush it. The light comes in from the front door in the morning, which is the best time to work. In the evenings, it gets a bit dark so we have some bright tubes on the ceiling. Malad is a big area, but Gandhi Nagar feels like its own little village sometimes. We know the local shopkeepers and the people who live in the apartments nearby. We don't do any big promotions. Most people find us by word of mouth or just by walking past. We’ve had some of the same customers for years. They know we are just regular people doing our job. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand. It’s a quiet life for the most part, except for the usual traffic noise from the main road. We are just here doing our thing and helping out our regulars.
