Our shop, J J Dies & Tools, is situated at Factory No 1 in the Tiwari Compound, which is on S V Road in Goregaon West. We’re tucked into the Utkarsh Nagar area. If you know Goregaon, you know how busy S V Road can get with all the traffic and people moving about. The Tiwari Compound is a bit of an old-school industrial pocket where a lot of manual work still happens. We specialize in dies and tools, which is meticulous work that requires a lot of patience. Our factory isn't large, but it’s packed with the machines we need to get the jobs done. It’s often loud and a bit oily, which is exactly how a tool shop should be. We aren't into the whole corporate image thing. We’re just regular people who spend our time measuring, cutting, and shaping metal. Most of the people who come to us are local manufacturers who need specific tools for their own production lines. We’ve been at this location for years, and we’ve seen Goregaon West change from a quieter suburb into the massive hub it is now. Even with all the new malls and apartments popping up, we’re still here in the compound doing the same kind of work. It’s a steady life. We don't make a big deal out of things; we just focus on the dies and tools and try to do an honest job.
