Indian Tresures

You can find Indian Tresures at 236 Yusuf Meharali Road. If you know this road, you know how packed it gets. There are carts, bikes, and people everywhere from dawn until dusk. Our shop is right in the middle of all that energy. Inside, it’s a bit of a maze. We have things stacked on shelves that go all the way to the ceiling. It’s dusty work and there is always something to be moved or unpacked. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the floorboards have a certain creak to them that we know by heart. We don’t have a website or a big marketing plan. People usually find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor. Most of our day is spent talking to customers and showing them what we have in stock. The light inside is a bit dim, but it stays cool even when the sun is beating down on the street. We keep a small radio playing in the background to catch the news or some music. Lunch is often eaten right at the counter between customers. It’s a very hands-on kind of life. We deal with all sorts of items and every day is a bit different depending on what comes in. It is just a traditional shop on a very busy street. We like the rhythm of the neighborhood and the people who make it up.
