We have our office over at B-302 in Kalina. It’s a pretty standard office building where we spend most of our time looking at property listings and talking to people about where they want to live in the city. Real estate in this place is always a bit chaotic and fast-moving, so we try to keep things as calm as possible in here. We aren't one of those big firms with a huge staff and fancy suits; it’s just a small group of us who know the local area really well. We’ve lived around Kalina and the neighboring suburbs for years, so we have a good idea of which buildings are decent and which ones have recurring maintenance issues. Our desks are usually piled high with maps, keys, and a lot of paperwork. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. People just come in, sit down on the old chairs, and we talk about what they are looking for. Sometimes we are out all day showing flats and houses, so the office stays empty for a few hours at a time. It’s a lot of walking and driving around in the heat, but it’s just part of the daily job. We try to be honest about what’s available on the market and what the prices are really like these days. There’s no point in making things sound better than they actually are. We just help people find a place.
