India Property Solution

We started India Property Solution in this small office at Powai. It’s at 11 Powai Maruti Darshan. The space isn’t huge but it fits our desks and the old filing cabinets where we keep all the property records and maps. Most of the day is spent talking to people about where they want to live or what they want to sell. Powai has changed so much since we first got here. There are more buildings now and the roads are way more crowded than they used to be. We spend a lot of time driving around showing flats to different families. Sometimes the keys don't work or we're waiting for a client who got stuck in traffic near the lake. It's a lot of paperwork too. There’s always a form to fill or a document to check. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of agents. It’s just us doing the legwork ourselves. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea because the days can get pretty long and tiring. The office gets a bit messy with notes stuck everywhere. We don't have a big flashy sign outside. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they live in the neighborhood. We know the local lanes pretty well. It’s mostly just making sure people find a place that works for them without too much trouble. Sometimes we’re out all day and the office stays locked. That’s just how it goes in this business. It is a simple way of working.
