If you’ve ever been to Kandivali West, you probably know where the railway station is. Our office is right across from it in Om Plaza. We’re up on the 3rd floor. It’s pretty noisy outside with the trains and the crowds, but it’s convenient for people getting off the commute. We handle life insurance stuff here every day. It’s mostly just sitting at desks, going over forms, and trying to explain the different plans to folks who walk in. A lot of people come in looking confused about their papers. We sit down and go through it page by page. It takes time. The tea guy comes around a few times a day which helps keep us going. Some days the office is packed and other times it’s just us filing things away in the cabinets. We aren't doing anything flashy here. It’s just a standard branch office where we try to get the work done without too much fuss. Being near the station means we see all kinds of people from all over the city. Sometimes the monsoon rain leaks a bit near the window, but we just move the chairs. It’s part of working in an older building like this. We’ve been in this spot for a bit now, and most of the regulars know where to find us. Just look for the sign near the stairs and head up.
