Icici Lomard General Insurance

Our office for Icici Lomard General Insurance is up on the 7th floor of the B Wing in Krishna Galaxy. If you know the area, we are right on Datta Mandir Road, very close to the Vakola Bridge in Santacruz East. Being in Mumbai 55 means things are always moving fast. You can hear the traffic from the bridge most of the day, but you get used to it after a week or two. The building has a lift, which is a relief since we are way up in 701. It’s a standard Mumbai setup with plenty of desks and computers. We have a small window that looks out toward the bridge, and sometimes you can see the monsoon clouds rolling in. Most of us take the train and then a rickshaw to get here. It’s a daily grind, but the team here is good. We usually eat lunch together at our desks or go down to the local stalls if we have time. The paperwork for the insurance stuff takes up most of our morning. It’s a lot of data entry and checking files. We don’t really have a big fancy lobby, just the office where everyone sits. It feels more like a workspace than a corporate showroom. We just try to get through the files as they come in and help the people who walk in the door looking for things. It’s a decent place to work.
