I G Impex

You have to come up to the first floor at Udyog Sadan to find us. We are in the E5 MIDC plot area, where the old Kala Silk Mill used to be. Kashi Village is a bit out of the way, but it works for what we do. The building is older and the stairs are a bit steep. I G Impex is mostly just office space and some storage. We handle a lot of importing and exporting stuff, so there are always papers and shipping labels everywhere. The windows look out over the other industrial plots. It’s not a very pretty view, just a lot of grey buildings and trucks. The air gets a bit dusty during the day. We have a small kettle for making coffee and tea. Usually, the morning is spent checking emails and making phone calls to see where the containers are. It’s a lot of waiting and then a lot of rushing all at once. We don't have any flashy decor. The desks are just plain wood and the chairs are a bit squeaky. It’s a small operation. We don't have a big marketing budget or a team of sales people. We just know our suppliers and our regular buyers. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed. It’s just the usual grind of a small trade business. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and know the neighbors pretty well. We just try to keep the business running smoothly.
