I D Gourmet India Pvt Ltd operates out of the Crystal Building in Cumballa Hill. We are in Shop No 2/A, which is right on the 1st Main Road in the 2nd Stage area. It is a fairly busy part of town, but the shop itself is quite organized. We handle a lot of specialty food items and gourmet products that you do not see in every regular grocery store. The shelves are packed with boxes and jars that come from all over. It is a lot of work checking expiry dates and making sure the storage temperature is just right for the more delicate items. Cumballa Hill is a nice area, but our daily reality is mostly about unloading crates and answering phone calls from customers looking for specific ingredients. The space is not huge, so we have to be very smart about how we stack the inventory. Sometimes it feels like a bit of a puzzle trying to find room for a new shipment.
