Home India operates out of the Todi Estate on Tulsi Pipe Road. We are situated up on the fourth floor in the A-Wing. If you know the Lower Parel area, you know exactly how busy this part of the city gets. The traffic outside is almost constant throughout the day. Inside the estate, it is a big mix of different kinds of businesses. We have been working here for a while now. The space itself is very functional. We use it for all our daily operations and admin tasks. There is a lot of walking back and forth between the desks and the storage area. It is definitely not a showroom or anything like that. It is just a place where the actual work happens. Sometimes the lift takes forever to arrive, so we often end up taking the stairs if we are in a hurry. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to doing that yet. We have got a small kitchen area where we can make our tea. Most of the day is spent handling different orders and talking on the phone. It is a practical setup for us. The noise from the street stays down there for the most part. We like being centrally located even if the commute is a bit of a struggle. It is just how things are for a business in this part of town. We keep things moving as best as we can.
