Herbs &N Spice Food & Speciality

Our unit is Gala No. 9 in the Y-A block of Chunawala Industrial Estate. It is right on Kondivita Road in Andheri East, not too far from the old DC Silk Mill. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving. We handle a lot of different herbs and spices here. The space is not very big, so we have to stack the bags high against the walls to make room for everyone to move. It is an industrial estate, so there is always the sound of trucks and other businesses working nearby. We spend our time sorting through the stock and making sure things are packed properly. It gets quite warm in the afternoons, but we have a couple of big fans that keep the air moving. We are a small team and most of us have been here for years. We do not use any fancy marketing talk because we are too busy actually doing the work. We check the quality by looking at the color and smelling the herbs ourselves. Sometimes the delivery vans get stuck in the Andheri traffic, which throws our schedule off, but that is just part of living here. We eat our lunch together in the small space near the front door. It is a simple operation and we do not try to make it sound like anything else. We just want to get the orders right and keep things moving.
