Hemali Saree

Hemali Saree is our shop and we are located at Shop No 141 in the New Municipal Market. This is right near the Malad Railway Station, on the 100 Feet Road 1st Stage in Malad West. Being so close to the station means there is never a quiet moment. People are always rushing past. We get a lot of commuters who just pop in for a quick look while they are heading home. The market is quite old and has a lot of character. We’ve got sarees of all types crammed into our space. It’s a bit tight inside when we have more than three or four customers, but we make it work. We don't have any polished sales pitch. We just show people the sarees and let them decide. Malad West is a busy area and we are right in the thick of it. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty with all the construction and traffic nearby. We just keep the shop as clean as we can and focus on the stock. We don't have any fancy marketing plans. Most of our business comes from people walking by on their way to the train. It’s been this way for years. We know the other vendors in the municipal market well. We all just try to get through the day. If you need a saree, we are here. If not, that's fine too. We just keep doing what we do.
