Heena Catering Service

Heena Catering Service is tucked away behind Chinai College in the Varma Nagar area of Bhandup West. Our address is 31/4A on Old Nagardas Road, which is usually quite busy with students and local traffic. We have been doing this for a while, mostly handling food for local weddings, small parties, and neighborhood gatherings. Our kitchen is where everything happens, and it is usually full of the sound of chopping and the hiss of large burners. Being behind a college means there is always a lot of energy around us, though we are mostly focused on our own schedules and delivery times. We don’t have a big storefront with a menu on the wall; it is more of a production space where we prepare the meals. The staff here has been with us for a long time and we all know our roles when a big order comes in. It is not a very large space, so we have to keep things very organized to make sure we don't get in each other's way. Sometimes the monsoon rains make the road outside a bit difficult, but we always manage to get our food out to the clients. It’s honest work and we like being part of the Bhandup community. We just keep our heads down and focus on the cooking, making sure the spices are right and the food is hot when it leaves the gate.
