Our place is at No. 1 & 2 Suman Nivas on Roshan Nagar, right in the middle of Chandavarkar Lane in Borivali West. Being in Borivali means it is always busy outside our door. We occupy two small units in Suman Nivas, which gives us just enough room to keep our materials and our workstations separate. It’s not a seamless, open-plan office like you see on TV. It’s more like a collection of rooms filled with things we need for our daily work. We’ve got tools and supplies stacked in the corners and the desks are usually covered in whatever we’re currently working on. We’ve lived and worked in this area for years, so we’re used to the noise and the pace of the lane. We don’t have any fancy marketing people or a sales team. It’s just us handling everything from the first phone call to the final product. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming when a lot of things happen at once, but we just take it one step at a time. We usually have lunch together in the small back room or grab something from the vendors nearby. It’s a very local, down-to-earth way of running a business. We don’t use any corporate jargon or have big meetings. We just talk to each other and get the job done. It’s a bit messy and it’s definitely not perfect, but it’s our way of doing things and it works for us.
