Our little office is at Shop Number 4 on the ground floor of Vincent Court. It sits right on Dr. B.A. Road in Dadar East, so it is quite easy to find if you know the area. Being on the ground floor is handy because we do not have to wait for lifts and people can just walk in from the street. Dadar is always crowded, especially around this part of the city. We spend our mornings sorting through real estate listings and answering the phone. It is a small space, mostly filled with desks and a few chairs for visitors. The noise from the main road is constant, but you get used to it after a few days. We have seen a lot of changes in the neighborhood over the years. We handle a lot of the local estate work around here. It is not a corporate setup, just a straightforward place where we get the job done. Sometimes the chai wala nearby comes by with tea which helps during the long afternoons. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who walks through the door. There is a lot of history in these Dadar buildings. We spend a fair amount of time out on the field too, checking on properties. It is a busy life here in Mumbai 400014, but it is what we know. The office might be a bit cramped when we are all in, but we make it work.
