Haria Food Products

Haria Food Products is located in the Patanwala Building in Byculla East. It is one of those old Mumbai buildings that has a lot of character and maybe a few too many stairs. We have been handling food products here for quite a while. The area is always busy with trucks and people moving goods around. You can usually smell something being packed or moved when you walk through the hallway. Our space isn't huge, it’s mostly taken up by boxes and bags. We spend a lot of time checking inventory and making sure everything is where it should be. It’s hard work and the humidity in Mumbai doesn't make it any easier. Byculla has changed a lot over the years but our corner of the building stays pretty much the same. We have a small team of people who have been with us for a long time. We know the local porters and the guys who drive the delivery vans. It’s a community feel even though it’s a business. We don't have a showroom or anything like that. People who need us know where to find us in the building. Sometimes the lift doesn't work so we end up carrying things up and down. It keeps us moving. We just focus on getting the food products out to where they need to go without making a big fuss about it. It’s just what we do every day.
