Our little office is tucked away in Balkrishna Apartment, right near the Bon Bon Shoes store in Andheri West. It’s a landmark most people in this area know, so it makes finding us a bit easier if you’re coming from the station side. We’ve been operating out of E-1 for some time, and the walls are covered with old maps and lists of available flats. Andheri is a massive place, and it’s changing every single day. One week there’s a new building going up, and the next, an old one is being pulled down. We try to keep track of what’s happening on the local streets. It’s mostly us handling rentals and basic sales for families or working people who want to be close to the hub. The coffee shop nearby is where we spend a lot of our time when the office gets too stuffy. We don’t have a team of hundreds, just a few of us who know the lanes here pretty well. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet for hours. We don't mind either way. Dealing with landlords and tenants involves a lot of talking and explaining the same things over and over, but that’s the job. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s ours. We just keep things moving and try to help folks find a roof over their heads without too much fuss or expensive marketing. It’s just how we do things in Balkrishna Apartment, one day at a time.
