Our place is over in Dadar East, situated on B.J.Deorukhkar Marg. We are at number 68 in Kesharbag, which is right across from Shindewadi. It is a typical busy street for the Naigaum area. We handle all sorts of items here, mostly small things that people need for their houses or their own shops. The space we have isn't exactly huge, so we often have boxes piled up pretty high against the walls. You really have to watch where you are walking when you come inside. We have been part of this neighborhood for a long time. Most of the people around here know who we are. We don't really bother with much advertising because word of mouth is usually how new people find us. Some days it is just me and one other guy moving heavy crates around. The monsoon season can be a bit of a headache because the dampness gets everywhere, but we manage to get through it. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or modern. We just stock what is needed and sell it to the customers. It is a simple way to run a business. The old building has its own quirks, like the lights that tend to flicker sometimes. We have a small wooden desk in the corner where we keep all the bills and receipts. It is loud outside with the buses constantly passing.
