Hallmark Foods

Hallmark Foods is tucked away in Malad West on Sunder Lane, right at number 8. It’s a bit of a quiet lane compared to the main roads of Malad, which is actually quite nice. We handle various food products, mostly things that are packaged and ready to go. The shop isn't very large, so we have to stack the boxes pretty high. We spend a lot of our time checking the stock and making sure nothing is sitting on the shelf for too long. It’s just a couple of us working here. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. Usually, I’m just in my regular clothes. The floor is made of old tiles that have a few cracks, but they’ve been there forever. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small one so people know they’ve found the right place. During the monsoon, the lane gets some puddles, so we have to be careful with the deliveries. We aren't trying to change the world. We just want to sell good food to the people who live around here. Sometimes we sit outside on a plastic stool when business is slow and just watch people go by. It’s a decent life. We don't use any fancy software for our sales. It’s all done on a basic calculator and a notepad. People seem to like the personal touch anyway. We’ve been here for years and hope to stay for many more.
