Hakim Tools Centre

Our place is down at 184 Bazar Suman Desai Ni Wadi, right off Udhana Main Road. It’s one of those busy spots where there is always something happening outside. The shop is packed from floor to ceiling with all kinds of tools and hardware. We have been here so long that we know exactly which shelf holds that one specific wrench or screw someone might be looking for, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, so we usually have a small fan blowing behind the counter, but it doesn't do much. People from the local workshops walk in all day long. Some are just looking for a cheap replacement, others need something very specific for a big project. We talk to everyone the same way. There’s no fancy sales talk here. You ask for a tool, we find it, and we tell you the price. The Udhana area is always loud with the sound of vehicles and other businesses, but inside the shop, it’s a bit more focused. We’ve had the same wooden counter for years, and it’s got the scratches to prove it. Sometimes we sit out front for a bit when things are quiet, just watching the people go by on the main road. It’s a basic business, nothing more, nothing less. We just keep the doors open and wait for the next customer to walk in with a problem.
