We are located at 114 Lohar Chawl. If you've ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and busy it gets. H. S. Miyajiwala Bros. has been in this spot for a very long time. It’s a small shop but it’s packed from floor to ceiling with all sorts of items. We have tools, hardware, and things you didn't even know you needed. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two people are inside. The shelves are old and they groan under the weight of all the metal. We know exactly where every single screw and bolt is, even if it looks like a mess to anyone else. There’s no air conditioning here, just a small fan that blows the dust around. We deal with all kinds of customers, from big contractors to someone just looking for a single hinge. My brothers and I run the place together. We don't have a marketing strategy. Our strategy is just being open when people need us. The street outside is always full of handcarts and people rushing by. It’s a loud, energetic place to work. We don't have time for fancy talk. We just find what you need, wrap it up, and move on to the next person. That’s how it has always been for us at Lohar Chawl. We stay until the shutters go down.
