Gurukrupa Caterers

We have been operating out of this spot at 28/224 in Siddharth Nagar for a good while now. It is on Road No 10, which most locals know because it is right near the Prabhodan Ground here in Goregaon West. Being Gurukrupa Caterers means our days usually start way before the sun is up, getting the big cooking pots ready and checking the vegetable deliveries. The kitchen is always a bit noisy and there is usually steam everywhere from the rice or the big vats of dal we are prepping. It is not a fancy corporate office or anything like that, just a workspace where we get things done. Most of the time, you will find us busy packing up containers or loading the small tempo to head out to some event nearby. The road outside can get pretty jammed up when there is a cricket match or a function at the ground, so we have to plan our timings just right. We have lived and worked in this part of Goregaon for years, so we know the shortcuts and the neighbors pretty well. It is hard work standing over the stoves all day, but it is what we do. We don't have a big front desk, usually just someone sitting with a ledger book near the entrance. If you walk past the ground, you can usually smell the masala being fried up in our kitchen. It’s just us doing our daily work.
