Guru Kripa Machine Tools. Our shop is at 41557 Patel Road in the Colaba Market area. We are near the Veet Bhatti spot, right opposite Oberoi Mall. It’s a funny contrast, having a traditional market and a big mall so close to each other. Patel Road is always packed with people and carts moving back and forth. Inside our shop, it is mostly machine tools and various hardware. We try to keep things organized, but when a new shipment comes in, there are boxes everywhere for a few days. The light in the shop isn't the best, so we use some old lamps to see the smaller parts. Being in Colaba, we get a mix of all kinds of people walking past. Some are just looking, but most are workers who need a tool right now to finish a job. We have been here for years, and the front sign is a bit faded from the sun. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. We just rely on being in a good spot where people can find us easily. It can get pretty loud with the market noises and the traffic from the mall side, but you get used to it after a while. It’s just a basic shop where we sell tools to people who need them. We spend a lot of time cleaning off the grease from the counter, but it just comes back the next day. This is our daily life here in the market.
