We are over at Shop No 6 in Vijay Tower Chs. It’s right in Andheri East, just opposite the Vijay Nagar Bus Stand. It gets very crowded there with all the people waiting for buses all day. Our shop is small and filled with folders and papers. We’ve been in Andheri for a long time. We know the noise and the fast pace of this place. We mostly help people find small apartments or office spaces to start their work. It’s a tough market and prices go up and down without much warning. We don't use a lot of fancy software to track things. We just use our notebooks and our memory. Sometimes the rain comes into the shop a little bit during the heavy monsoon. We just put out a bucket and keep working like nothing happened. People know us at the bus stand. They stop in to ask about rents while they wait for their ride. We don't have a big sales pitch. We just tell them what is available and what the landlord is really like. Some landlords are difficult to deal with, and we try to warn people about that before they sign. It’s better to have a good match than a quick deal that goes bad. We work long hours because Andheri never really sleeps. If you are standing at the Vijay Nagar Bus Stand, just look across and you will see us. We are usually there till late evening.
