Gurmeet Kaur

My place is on the sixth floor of Jagruti No 1, right here on Carter Road 3 in Borivali East. It is a busy area, but once you get up to the office, it is a bit calmer. I have lived in Mumbai for a long time, so I am used to the pace, but having this spot in Borivali makes things manageable. The office is not very large, just enough space for a couple of desks and some storage for my supplies. I do not really go for the corporate look with shiny floors or a front desk. It is more of a place where things actually get done. I usually spend my mornings checking through the mail and catching up on whatever needs doing. Borivali East is a good spot because it is easy to get to, though the traffic on Carter Road can be a nightmare during peak hours. I try to stay organized, but sometimes my desk gets buried under papers when things get busy. I do not have a big staff, so I end up doing a lot of the small stuff myself. It is just how it goes when you are running your own thing. I like that people can just reach out and talk to me directly without having to go through a bunch of managers. It is a simple way of living and working. Nothing special, just a regular person trying to keep things running smoothly. The elevator is a bit slow, but the view from 603 is okay.
