Grills Wok

Grills Wok is located right at Shop No 1 on Jetalpur Road in the Gandhi Nagar area of Lower Parel. It’s a busy spot with a lot of people moving around D S Ro all day long. We start early most mornings to get everything ready before the lunch crowd starts showing up. Being on the ground floor means we see everything that happens on the street. It can get pretty hot near the cooking area, especially when the afternoon sun hits the front of the shop. We have been here for a bit and have seen the neighborhood change quite a lot over the years. We mostly just focus on getting the food out and making sure the stove is working right. There isn't a lot of space for sitting around, so people usually just grab what they need and head back to their offices or homes. We try to keep the place tidy, though it’s hard with so much foot traffic coming through Gandhi Nagar every hour. The noise from the traffic on Jetalpur Road never really stops, but that's just part of being in Lower Parel. We aren't trying to be anything fancy or high-end. We just run a simple shop and try to keep things moving. Most of our regulars work in the nearby buildings and they know exactly what to expect when they walk in. It’s a straightforward life running a place like this and we hope to keep at it for a while.
