Glass Wall

People always ask where Devidas Mension is, and we tell them it's right off Balaram Street here in Grant Road. We’ve been running Glass Wall from this spot for quite some time. It's an old building, but it has character and plenty of space for what we do. We mostly deal with glass panels and getting things sized right for customers. Grant Road is always busy, so there’s a lot of noise coming in from Dinbai Petit Street, but we don't mind it much. It feels like being part of the city's pulse. Inside the shop, things are usually a bit dusty because cutting glass isn't exactly a clean job. We have our tools laid out and we just get to work every morning. It's not a corporate setup with suits and meetings. It’s just us in our work clothes making sure the glass is cut straight. Sometimes we run out of space when a big order comes in, so we have to move things around quite a bit. It’s a bit of a puzzle sometimes. We’ve known the neighbors for years, and we all kind of look out for each other. If you’re looking for a shiny showroom, this isn't it. We just provide the glass and do the work. It’s straightforward. We keep our hours regular and just try to get the orders finished on time without any drama. Everyone knows that we stay busy and stick to the schedule.
