Jyoti Saree

Jyoti Saree is right at No. 10 Station Road, which is basically directly across from the railway station in Goregaon West. Because we are so close to the station, we see a lot of people passing by all day long. It’s a place people can get to easily if they are getting off the train and need to pick something up on their way home. We mostly deal with sarees of all kinds. The shop is often full of colors because of all the fabric we have stacked up on the shelves. It’s not a huge place, so it can get pretty crowded during the festive seasons when everyone is looking for something new to wear. We don’t use any big words or fancy sales tactics here. We just show people the sarees we have and let them decide for themselves. Sometimes we sit down with a customer for a while just to go through different patterns and see what they like. It’s a lot of work keeping everything folded neatly, and honestly, we’re not always perfect at it. There’s always a bit of dust from the road and the sound of the trains in the background, but we’re used to it. It’s just a normal part of life here in Goregaon. We’ve been here for quite some time now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we do, and we’re happy to be part of the neighborhood here on Station Road.
