Our shop is number A/1/32 in the Bmc Colony of Goregaon East. It’s situated right near the Crawford Market area and just across from the Nnp buildings. Chintamani Estate Agency is a small place where we help people with their housing needs. Goregaon East is full of big complexes and colonies, and it can be hard to find a place that is actually decent. We spend our time keeping an eye on which flats are empty and which landlords are looking for new tenants. The office is quite basic, just a couple of desks and a shelf full of old files from years of work. We do a lot of walking around the Bmc Colony, talking to neighbors and keeping our ears open for any news. It’s a lot of work to get the rental agreements sorted and to make sure the police papers are all done. We don't have a big team or fancy cars to take people around; we just walk them over to the buildings nearby. Sometimes it gets a bit overwhelming with so many people looking for cheap housing, but we do what we can. We’ve lived in this area for a long time, so we know the shortcuts and which buildings have the best views of the hills. If you need to find a place in Goregaon, we are usually in the shop from morning until late evening. Just look for our small sign near the market gate.
