Goodwill Traders

Our shop is over in the Kohinoor Complex on the Chembur Sion Trombay Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there is a lot of dust and noise from the trucks and buses going by all day. The complex itself is quite old and has a lot of different traders tucked into different corners. We are at number 41308. It’s a simple space, mostly filled with the goods we trade and some old wooden furniture we’ve had for years. There isn't much in the way of decoration. We prefer to keep things practical. People come in to pick up orders or just to check what we have in stock. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking the delivery schedules. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard, so we usually pull the shades down a bit. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a fancy experience. It’s just a reliable spot where we get our work done and talk to our regular customers. There’s a tea stall nearby that we use a lot. We just take things one day at a time, making sure the inventory is right and the customers are getting what they need. It’s a basic, honest way to earn a living in a city that never stops moving. We keep the ledger updated and wait for the next delivery to arrive at the door.
