Godrej & Boyce Mfg. Co. Ltd+B6292

I’ve been working here at Plant No. 7 for a long time now. We are part of the Godrej & Boyce setup in Pirojshanagar, Vikhroli. Specifically, I’m in the B6292 section. It’s a huge place, almost like its own little city with all the plants and the trees everywhere. You can see the history of the company just by looking at the old brickwork on some of the buildings. It’s not a place for fancy talk. We just show up and do the manufacturing work that’s expected of us. Every day is pretty much the same routine, but we don't mind it. The noise of the machinery is just part of the background after a while. We have people here who have been working the same stations for twenty years. It’s a solid environment. We don't really do those promotional things you see on TV. We just make things. Vikhroli is a good spot because of all the transport links, even if the traffic is a nightmare in the evenings. We stay focused on the floor. There’s a lot of grease and heavy lifting. It’s a real factory, not some shiny office. We eat our lunch together and talk about the cricket scores. It’s just a normal job with a lot of moving parts. We keep the machines running and the production lines moving along as best we can.
