Gloria Tiffin Service

We’ve been running Gloria Tiffin Service out of room B/201 in Devki Ashirwad for some time now. Borivali West is a busy area and we are right in the middle of it. Every morning starts quite early here because the cooking takes a lot of time. We mostly handle the lunch boxes and the packing. It gets a bit hot in the kitchen when all the burners are going at once but that’s just how it is. People know the building well enough. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. Just a small setup in a residential block. Most days we are just busy sorting out the dabbas and making sure the lids are on tight so nothing spills during the delivery. The hallway outside our door usually smells like spices by ten in the morning. Sometimes the delivery boys are waiting in the stairs if the food isn't ready yet. It’s a lot of work every single day. We don't really have fancy machines, just the usual pots and pans you’d find anywhere. It’s mostly family helping out. We’ve lived in this part of Borivali for years. The room is a bit small but we make it work for everything we need to do. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to get things out on time but we try. It’s a simple business and we just keep at it because people need their lunch.
