Glass Link

Glass Link has been sitting here in Majid Bhai Chawl for quite some time now. Being right on Link Road, near the bridge in Nityanand Nagar, means it’s always loud outside. We work with all kinds of glass products, mostly for the folks around Ghatkopar West. It’s not a huge place, just a typical shop where things get a bit messy with offcuts and crates. Dealing with glass in this part of town is a challenge because of the traffic on the bridge, so we spend a lot of time just planning how to get things from one place to another without a crack. Most of our neighbors know us well, and we’re used to the local rhythm. We don't have a big front office or a receptionist. If you walk in, you’re likely to see one of us cutting glass or talking to a regular customer. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the front of the shop. We’ve had the same crew for years, and we just focus on getting the measurements right the first time. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, but that's just part of the deal. It’s a busy life here in the chawl, and we’re just glad to be a part of the local scene. Nothing fancy, just glass and hard work every day. It’s how we've always done things and we don't see that changing anytime soon.
