Ghatkopar Balkan Ji Bari

We are located at the Balbhavan building in Ghatkopar East. It’s right across from the Rajawadi Garden, which is a nice landmark for anyone trying to find us. We are also near the old Video Market area. This place has been around for a long time. It’s mostly a spot for kids and community things. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just us here looking after the building and making sure the rooms are ready for whatever is planned. The building itself shows its age a bit, but we do our best to keep it tidy. Being in Ghatkopar, there is always a lot of activity outside, especially near the market. You can hear the sounds of the street even when you’re inside. We host different groups and local gatherings throughout the week. Sometimes it’s quiet, and other times the whole place is full of energy. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most people know us because they grew up coming here or live just down the street. It’s a very local operation. We spend a lot of time talking to parents and neighbors who stop by. It’s not a fancy job, but it’s an important part of the neighborhood. We just take it one day at a time, making sure the doors stay open for the community. It’s a busy life, but we like being here in Ghatkopar East.
