Ghanshyam Estate Consultancy is based right here in Ghatkopar West at Sagar Bonanza. We are in office number 15, which is easy enough to find once you get inside the building. Working in this part of Mumbai keeps us pretty busy because there is always someone moving in or out. It’s a crowded area, and the streets are always full of life, which makes the real estate market a bit chaotic at times. We don’t have a big team of agents in suits. It’s just us doing the daily work of checking listings and talking to landlords. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, with old buildings being pulled down and new ones going up every few months. Finding a decent flat here can be a real struggle for people, especially with how fast things get rented out. We try to keep a list of what’s actually vacant so people don’t waste their time. Sometimes the phone doesn't stop ringing and other times it's quiet enough to actually get some paperwork done. We don't use any complicated systems to track things; we just use our notebooks and what we remember from talking to people. It’s a straightforward way of doing business. We aren't trying to change the world; we are just helping people find a roof over their heads in Ghatkopar.
