Gem Diamond Products

Started in Lower Parel at Adhyaru Indusrial Estate. It's unit 323. We’ve been here a while. The Sun Mills Compound area is always busy, trucks coming in and out. It’s not fancy. There’s dust and the smell of machines. We mostly deal with diamond tools and things like that. If you know the area, you know how it is. It’s crowded. You climb the stairs and find us among all the other small shops and units. We keep the machines running most of the day. Sometimes the power goes, but we manage. It’s just how it goes here. Most of the guys have been here for years. We aren't trying to be some big corporate office. It’s just work. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the cutters are right. If something breaks, we fix it. It's a bit of a maze getting to our floor if you haven't been here before. We share tea with the guys next door. Lower Parel has changed a lot with the big malls nearby, but inside this compound, it’s still the same old routine. We focus on the metal and the grit. It’s practical work. Nothing more, nothing less. Just Gem Diamond Products doing what we do every day. The fans hum all afternoon. It gets hot, especially in the summer. We just keep our heads down and finish the orders. We aren't here for show. It's a simple life inside the unit.
