Geeta S Rao is located on Akurli Road. We are directly opposite a housing society, which gives our location a bit of a neighborly feel. It’s not like being in a cold, glass office tower. You can see families walking their dogs or kids coming home from school right outside. The office itself is quite modest. It’s a place where things actually get done without a lot of fuss. We have a few desks, some comfortable enough chairs, and a lot of paper. Everything is a bit lived-in. There’s a small kitchenette where the kettle is almost always boiling. We’ve found that being in a residential area like this makes for a much calmer workday. Akurli Road can get busy during rush hour, but for the most part, it’s a steady pace. We don't have a big corporate logo on the door or anything like that. People usually find us by looking for the society across the street. We spend our time working through tasks and chatting with the people who drop by. It’s a practical way to run things. We aren aren’t trying to change the world. We’re just trying to provide a steady hand for whatever project is currently on the desk. It’s a quiet life, and we like it that way. Sometimes we just look out the window and watch the world go by for a minute before getting back to the paperwork.
