Geeta Machine Tools

Our little setup is at number 2 Sonawala, right near Sonal Apartments. We are on the 8th A Cross, just off 1st A Main. Geeta Machine Tools has been operating out of this space for quite some time now. It’s more of a warehouse feel than a shop, really. We keep a lot of heavy equipment here. Things like lathes, milling tools, and different kinds of industrial cutters. It’s a lot of iron and steel everywhere you look. The floor is concrete and has some cracks, but it holds up under the weight of the machines. We spend most of our time checking over the equipment to make sure everything is in working order. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find a lot of polish or shiny displays. We keep the lights on and the grease levels high. My dad used to say that a clean tool shop wasn’t doing enough work, and we kind of live by that. We get a lot of visitors from the local factories looking for specific replacements or used gear. Sometimes we just sit and talk shop while we wait for a delivery truck to show up. The neighborhood is mostly industrial, so it gets pretty loud during the day with all the trucks moving in and out. We don't mind it much. It’s just the sound of work getting done. We are just here, six days a week, doing our part.
