Gautam Diam

You’ll find us at Shop No Ac on the first floor, right near Grant Road. We are situated in Bordisheri, opposite Bharat Nagar, which is a fairly crowded area most days of the week. The shop isn’t massive, but it fits what we need. We spend our time looking at stones and keeping track of orders. It can get a bit cramped when a few people are in here at once, but we make it work. The light inside is quite bright because we need to see what we are doing clearly. Being on the first floor means we see people walking by all the time on their way to the other shops in the building. There’s a lot of activity around Bharat Nagar, so there is always some kind of noise coming from outside. We usually have the radio on or just talk among ourselves while we work. It’s a regular shop, nothing too over the top. We have some glass cases and a few chairs for visitors. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but it’s fine. Most of our day is spent at the counter. We’ve been in this spot for a while now, and we know the neighbors pretty well. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here at Gautam Diam. We focus on the work, keep the place tidy, and handle things as they come. There is always a lot to do, so the time goes by fast.
