Gaurav Machine Tools Co.

Our shop is unit 103 in the K.K. Gupta Industrial Estate. It’s on Dr. R.P. Road in Mulund West. The estate is a big block with lots of different businesses coming and going. We’ve been here at Gaurav Machine Tools for quite some time now. It’s a busy place with people moving crates and machines in the hallways all day. Our unit isn't huge, but we make the most of the space we have. We have racks full of tools and parts from floor to ceiling. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes, especially when a big order comes in and we have to stack things up. The lighting is okay, but we use extra lamps when we’re looking at fine details on the tools. We don't have a receptionist; usually, whoever is closest to the door helps out the customer. We know a lot of the regulars who come by for specific machine parts. Mulund is a good area to be in, though the traffic on R.P. Road can be a bit much in the evenings. We don't have a corporate strategy or anything like that. We just try to stock what people need and keep the place organized enough to find things. The walls are lined with calendars and old posters. We have a small table in the back where we sit down for lunch. It’s a simple, hardworking environment. We don’t put on any acts for customers. What you see is what you get.
