Our office is up on the third floor of Srishti Square, right on LBS Marg in Bhandup West. It’s a busy spot, especially being so close to the Mulund-Bhandup Junction and Nirmal Life Style. You can see Jalaram Park from nearby too. Gaurav Kharkar & Associates started out small, and honestly, we still feel like a tight-knit team even though the projects have gotten busier. Most days involve a lot of coffee and even more phone calls to vendors. Mumbai is a tough place to build anything, with the space being so tight and the regulations always shifting, but we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of it. We spend a lot of time traveling between the office and various sites around the city. The 304 unit is where all the actual drafting happens. It’s often loud with the sound of the traffic outside, but we don't mind. We work on all sorts of buildings, trying to make sense of the client's ideas while staying realistic about the budget. It isn't always pretty; there are plenty of late nights spent fixing errors or waiting for a delivery that got stuck in traffic. We just try to be honest about what can be done in the time we have. If you’re coming from the junction, we’re easy to find. We don't do big ads, we just focus on the drawings and the dust on the sites.
