Garg Electroheat

We’re based in the D-Wing of Ansa Industrial Estate, at unit 118. This is right on Saki Vihar Road in Andheri East, so it’s always busy around here. Garg Electroheat has been operating out of this spot for quite some time now. The estate is a bit old, and the lifts can be temperamental, so we often end up taking the stairs. Inside, it’s mostly tools, wire, and heating elements scattered across the workbenches. We do a lot of manual assembly and testing. It’s not the cleanest environment because of the materials we use, but it’s a productive one. We have a small team of guys who know exactly how to put these units together. There’s always someone drinking tea or checking a multimeter. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. You just walk straight into the workspace where we do the actual work. The noise from the other units in the building filters in, so there’s a constant hum of activity. We spend a lot of time making sure the specifications are met before we box anything up for delivery. It’s a very hands-on kind of business. We don’t really bother with social media or fancy websites. Most of our work comes from people who have known us for years. It’s just a regular Mumbai workshop where we put in the hours and get the jobs done. We don't make things more complicated than they need to be. Most of us take the train in every morning and head back after we lock up.
