We are situated on the 5th floor of building number 211 on Kalbadevi Road. If you are looking for Garden Silk Mills Ltd., you just have to find the Central Bank and then head upstairs. We are right above the bank. Kalbadevi Road is one of those places that is always packed with people and traffic. The noise from the street carries all the way up to the 5th floor, so it is never truly quiet here. The building itself is quite old and the elevator can be a bit slow or cranky sometimes. Once you get to our floor, it is a bit more settled. Our office isn't anything like those modern glass buildings you see in the new parts of the city. We have wooden desks that have seen better days and shelves filled with papers and samples. We spend a lot of time here just managing the daily flow of things. The view from the window is mostly the roofs of other old buildings and the busy street below. Being above the Central Bank makes it easy to tell people where we are located. We have a small area where we keep our bags and coats. The lighting is just regular tube lights, and the fans hum all day to keep the air moving. It is a busy environment, but we are used to the pace of Kalbadevi Road. Garden Silk Mills Ltd. has been in this spot for quite some time.
